In the beginning

I am starting this blog at the request of my sisters, mother, and wife. I have been visting their pages for a couple of weeks and really enjoy seeing just a little bit of what is going on in their minds and in their lives. We don't live close (except for my wife, she may think I live too close at times) and we don't get to see each other as much as I would like, so this is a great way to close that distance.
